Vanda denisoniana is a good one and it lasts a long time. For those that like lemon grass, try Aerides houlletiana. My wife cannot stand the smell of Cattleya walkeriana but I like it although it is very strong

Phalaenopsis sweet memory liodoro Weak but delicious smell of honeysuckle, if you had to recommend some fragrance despite its low power would be this without a doubt.

My sharry baby had 21 spikes (17 of them at once, the other 4 are blooming now in its secondary bloom)...it smells like chocotalate and vanilla. In the catt family, I love c. walkeriana, Grand Dragon, and Aloha Spirit. Bob Betts is pretty nice too.

Between oncidium ornithorynchum and oncidium sharry baby, which is more potent in terms of fragrance? I read that the hybrids lose intensity of fragrance, duration of the flower, etc ..., is this true?

In general the fragrant flower will lose its fragrance as it is getting old. If one of the parent of the hybrid is non-fragrant, there is possibility that the intensity of the offspring will reduce sometimes and some even produce fragrance at specific time only.

I love Den superbum and its hybrids. They reek of raspberries.
