    Default Need help to ID different orchids

    Hi, My friend bought these orchids from Thailand and they didn't have any tags on them. i did searched for myself and i did come up with some ideas but i'm not sure. You're help will be much appreciated. Thanks

    Looks like brassavola nodosa. this one can't be brassavola nodosa because i have a nodosa division and the leafs on that one is much bigger compare to the picture below.

    Don't even want to guess at the 1st one. Almost impossible to tell the difference between lamellatum and compressum without flowers and even then it'll be difficult. Last one does look like findlayanum.

    I concur with Chris indeed very difficult need to wait until can see flower.
    Again the first one could be Cory, Gongora or maybe Bifrenaria. Nice specimen.

    Looks like a big haul from Thailand. Would be better to ID when it flowers.

    I think that the one that looks like B. nodosa is a nodosa. I have one with long slender leaves and another that looks like the one in your picture.

    If you go back and edit, and put a number or letter against each pic,
    I can probably name many, or eliminate many of your ideas, but its too difficult trying to identify which one I am referring to without that.
    But for starters, the chances of tou dinding Gongora or Coryanthes in Thailand arenot veryhigh. In central or South America , yes, in Asia no.
