Default Need help to identify orchid with pseudobulbs

I am new to orchids but couldn't pass up an orchid being tossed away at a supermarket so thought I could maybe save it with you'lls help. It was in a mossy medium and had some roots rot, so i washed if off and cleaned it up and this is what I'm left with.

We're going to need a photo to even guess at the genus, but the most common "grocery store" orchid is a phalaenopsis.

A grocery store orchid with pseudobulbs is most likely an Oncidium alliance hybrid, but could also be a Catt or Zygo or others. When you can attach a photo we should be able to identify the correct alliance. For nowm getting it out of the moss and removing unhealthy roots is a good start.
