    Default Orchid or not orchid

I could only venture a guess if I saw a close up of the blooms, my guess is a no however, there are not that many vine-type orchids that I am aware of (besides vanilla).

Deffinently not an orchid! That vine grows like a weed here in Fl. In fact, often times I treat it like a weed, and give it a healthy dose of Round up! One person's weed is another person's beautiful vine!

No it isn't an orchid. The plant is Dischidia pectinoides . Bench72, the large "pods" are actually modified leaves. The little red "buds" are the flowers -- and they're as open as they are going to get.
