I voted for disease control, but that and pest control are the same in my book. Both nasty.

My vote was insect control. I hate having to mix up something to kill something that is just doing what it is supposed to do to survive. So that is my least favorite orchid chore.
Cheers!

Dragging them inside and back out when we have a hurricane or a freeze warning. I always get frogs in the lanai and them leave a million foot prints on the sliding glass doors.

i haven't had to do any pest/disease control, so far (knock on wood), but i'm sure that would take the cake.
i would say my least favorite part is getting the temp/humidity/light to just where i want it, and getting it to stay there. the humidity alone took me a full week of changing things to get set...not the moving plants around once the conditions are right, i don't mind that at all, but getting things to that point, ver frustrating.
for runners up: my girlfriend wanting to put her house plants under my grow lights. and watching blooms wither and fall is sad sometimes.
