    Default Blood fish & bone

Anyone use this for there 'chids ?
I,ve read a few articles(mainly on Phrag culture) that reccomend the use of blood fish & bone a couple of times a year to promote good culture.
I use it in the garden but i,ve never thought of using it for my 'chids.

blood fish & bone: is that the name of an all in one product? Or is it bone meal, fish emulsion, and blood meal, all seperate?

Maybe because i,m across the pond the name is different.
Ok just got the packet & it,s actually Fish,Blood & Bone.
Actually itappears to be a compound fertilizer with a 6-6-6 analysis.
    Product contains sterlised animal by-products.
I use it as a slow release fert for some of my "hungry" plants I.E
    fuchsias , brugmansias, daturas etc.

Aha. No, I've never heard of it or used it--sorry! We use fish emulsion on a regular basis, but that's it out of those three.

    Maybe someone else?

    LOL!

Sure, might as well give it a shot. It'll probably take a few months for you to notice any differences, but definitely post when / if you see some. I sure haven't heard of any reason why you shouldn't use something like that--on this side of the pond they're all available seperately; I just don't know any growers who have tried them on orchids.

I've heard a lot of conflicting things about shell/bone/calcium on paphs...anyone care to comment on that? Good thing? Bad thing? No thing at all??
