Default This thingy is so cool.

I normally don't get excited about pot holders (not the kind you use baking) but I found this on the clearance rack for $3.99 because one of the glazed pots was missing. I put my plants in it and now I have MORE room for MORE plants lol! What a beautiful thing.

Not sure today's the day to aspire to that! LOL! Yes, they are changing the monthly "Letter from Martha" in the magazine to "Letter from Martha's Cell"

I actually feel sorry for her. People are intimidated by her because she is a powerful WOMAN in this male dominated country! Men in her same type of situation are out free. Something is not right with that picture!

The new growth is really taking off, probably in another year or two I will divide it to keep is on the smaller side. It has one flower in bloom and 5 buds. This thing never stops growing buds, it is a joy. Unfortunately, it is a cross that doesn't have a scent. But that is the only minus. My Nelly Isler (also in the background) had a new bud opening up. Oh the rush of it all!

I agree 100%. I was watching CNN or one of the news channels and on Abrams opinion he was saying the same thing. I don't get how some celebrities get away with murder, and some sell off stock and go to jail for it. The only reason I fear Martha is the made-for-TV- movie about her depicted her as a total witch. Other than that I really never paid much attention to her.

Yes I am sure if she worked for Unocal, she'd have gotten off scot free!

Actually, I think I could do a good pot drilling segment on her show!

I can think of only two prominent celebrities in recent memory who have avoided punishment for murders they most likely committed. One would hope that it catches up to them sooner or later. For those who believe in the afterlife or a day or reckoning, I suppose that would be a perfect time.

I'm of the notion that if one commits a crime, then one oughta suck up and face the (pre-written) consequences. Someone else getting away with more serious crimes is irrelevant. Your own bad judgment can and should be punished. Like Kovach. Others may feel differently, but it wouldn't bother me in the least bit if he got the book slammed in his face.

Besides, I'm sure after two weeks, that prison cell will put my own room to shame in terms of decor and utility.

I am SO with Pete on this thing. What Martha did was wrong, no doubt but GUYS have been getting away with this for years and years. She is not part of the good ol boy network so they made an example of her. Compared to what Ken Lay, et al did it pales in comparison. They stole people's retirement, imagine that. The execs at Polariod did no better.
