Default spikes, new growth and SHOPPING

Well, I've spent the morning shlepping--is that Diane's word? :-) plants to my sink. Doesn't take me very long either, so clearly I don't have enough plants. LOL

I have disovered some new growths, and some spikes! LOVE that.

My Colm. Jungle Monarch 'everglades' has a spike-a plant I got last summer and painstakingly repotted trying SO hard not to overpot. Looks as if I succeeded, it's happy!

I have tiny new growths on my DTPS. Blessed x brother sara gold that could be a spike, but too soon to tell. Got that from the same vender as the Colm. above and have been watching happy new root growth in it's clear pot...but the leaves weren't doing much. Yeah!

New growth on my Cym. misericors, and a spike on my Phal. Little Mary, and what could be a bloom coming on my Pot. Free Spirit.

Now I'm trying to make a couple of plant purchases-have this long want list, and am trying to be reasonable, systematic and not impulsive.....LOL I spent an hour the other night moving plants around-funny how I seem to have SO much more room now in my south windows-so now to fill some of that room.....

Yes, Diane is from a fine Yiddish-speaking family. We have all borrowing that word from her! LOL

Sounds like your little green charges are happy in your new place! Lots of signs of life and spring--isn't that great? And, of course, it just makes us want more, eh? We've all been there! SPACE in your south windows?! That needs to be corrected ASAP!

I wish I had a south facing window... All mine are either east or west. Good for paphs and phrags and phals, tho. So, a shopping spree - Whoopee!! Be sure to tell us what you get!

I was actually doing some arranging at my window last night as well-- making room for the new plants I am dreaming of. I don't have your self control, however. I tend to be a little impulsive with my plant purchases. There are just some you see and immediately know they MUST come home!
