    yes, with rare exceptions, all maudiae-types are easy to grow, and you just have to pick a color that you like. I'm sure Louis' plant will be vigorous and excellent to start with.

    Ed, thanks again! Your plant was shipped this morning and I emailed you your USPS delivery confirmation number. I really appreciate your order--I think the plant will do very nicely for you. As Jason said, maudiae-type Paphs are easy to grow and rebloom, and as such, make excellent "confidence boosters" for newcomers. Plus, the one I sent you { Paph. (Clarissa x Mod Maude) '#1' X Paph. Robert de Veer '#8'} is, in my opinion, a very striking-looking burgundy with a white halo and lime-green center, and they've been putting up extra large flowers.

    So enjoy it, and good growing!
