I have a paph that the new growth is starting to come out yellow and or white. Is this too much or too little light. The ends of the leave aren't yellow, only the new growth. Since I grow under fluorescents I couldn't imagine that it could be too much light. Please help.

Can you post a pic? Sounds like some kind of bugs are sucking the juices out of the new leaf (hope not)! What kind of a Paph is it?

paphanatic, I've never experienced a plant doing that--the first thought that came to mind was the light issue. What kinds of fluorescents are you using? Definitely post a pic when you can--I'd be interested to see what the plant looks like.

I'm just using the plain old sylvania grow lamps that I bought from Lowes. I run them about 13 hours a day. I ordered a digital camera last night so I hope to have pictures by saturday. There is one other plant that I have that is doing something similar. It is a complex paph, however the lightness in color only occurs on this plant on the very edges of the new growth.

I'm sorry, I cannot help you, unless you try to put it in through using the "manage attachments" button at the bottom of the screen. Then you can just upload directly from your computer.

I cannot for the life of me get the other way to work.
I look forward to seeing your light leaves though!
