Many plants supposed to use Eric Young 'Mt Millais' AM/RHS as a parent are not from that plant. They get their award on the tag when they reach the USA or Japan.

    Look at http://www.klinge.nl
Photo Gallery and the Phrags. There is an Eric Young x schlimii that matches perfectly your picture from Tindara Orchids. Not a single drop of Eric Young 'Mt Millais' AM/RHS in it, just a relabeled pot-plant...

Several EU exporters, not Klinge are famous for relabeling plants. Many US giant primulinum are relabeled P.Pinnochio for example.

Current price for a blooming clump of that phrag is EUR 9.

I guess that's not much different from the scam emanating from Taiwan recently--all those sanderianum hybrids that bloomed out jerry spence or berenice (and not very good ones at that).

Yes but the taiwanese were not RHS judges :toofull:

and the buyers were incredibly credulous to buy such plants from those same peoples who sold rothschildianum album, glaucophyllum album, fake divisions of rothschildianum 'Mont Millais' FCC/RHS, and fake Eric Young 'Trinity' FCC/RHS over the last 10 years worldwide.
