I think it will still bloom... it may send out a new spike on one of the nodes...

Oh NO! I am sure somewhere that there was a post with photos from McJulie with regrowth on her psychopsis.... could be thinking of the wrong plant...

Be patient. If there is a node on the spike, it should put out a new spike from there. It may take some time, but DO NOT CUT THE SPIKE!!! I broken 3 or 4 of mine, not quite so close to the plant, but they all put out a new spike from the highest node. (Kerry is right about Julie, she broke hers and followed my instructions and it is now either in bud or bloom...)
Sorry it happened, I know how frustrating it is.
