    Default Please help me!!!

    Dear all.
My orchid (a hybrid) has some kind of disease!

At first, I suspected root rot, but under closer observation, its roots are not black. However,
80% of its roots seem to be weak and hollow and are
also a light brown. Could this be an early stage of
root rot? From where the lower leaves meet the
stalk, the material has been yellowing and then
browning. I currently am on vacation and when
I left from florida to go to Tenn., I stubbornly
brought 2 orchids w/ me! I knew that changing its
environment would make it weak. For three mo.
of the trip my 2 orchids were fine. My vanda
already died and now I am desperate to find a
    cure for my hybrid!
Thank you for your time I appreciate it. I

Default Hard to help without more information...

what kind of hybrid is it?

All is not lost, I see you are in Bradenton. There is always the Sarasota Orchid Show during the Halloween weekend at the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens. About a dozen vendors...lots of fun.

The indicator of a real pro is one that has killed their fair share of orchids learning the lessons of orchid culture. You're on your way to being a real pro!
