Default *screech* IT HAS A SHEATH!

I'm pretty excited, if you can't tell haha My Blc. Laddawan Beauty has a sheath forming along with a new lead! It was a large bag baby from a few months ago and is really taking off. It currently has four new pb's forming and I woke up this morning to find one of them unfolding with a sheath enclosed in it! Cross your fingers that it will develop buds There will definitely be pictures if it blooms!

    Congratulations.

A watched orchid never blooms -- oh wait, that is about pots boiling. Good thing too since you seem to be eyeing this beauty's every inch regularly.

With so much love, surely it will bloom . . . good luck.

    Kelly..

I got this one as a bag baby back in May. It grows like a weed, but I haven't been able to bloom it yet. Please make sure and post a picture of yours! (How tall is the p-bulb with said sheath?)

Oh it's still a baby...probably about 1.5" long, with no visible formation of the actual bulb yet.

Hmmm...Interesting, since it's a unifoliate catt. But I'm sure double leaves aren't so uncommon. A bit dissapointing, however, if does end up being a leaf...we'll see!
