    THat's funny!

I agree with clint (not surprising since he actually knows what he's talking about whereas I am a vanda newbie as well). I had my three new vandas hear a south facing window without shade--thinking they need a LOT of light, but I noticed that the leaves were starting to get a faint pinkish tinge from too much light. So, now they get no shade in the morning, but by noon the shade cloth is across the window. Good luck with your bag baby--I saw some myself at a big box store the other day and it is SO tempting--they are SO much cheaper than buying them elsewhere.

Oh I know! And some bag babies are pretty big, considering most people warn about the lengthy blooming size process. I bought a cattleya along with my vanda and it has a sheath on it! A few of them even had buds already, inside the bag haha It was interesting.
