Default Fluorescent light question

Does a flowering plant still need the red spectrum to keep on flowering or will the blue spectrum be okay ?

don't know if this will really answer your question, but i found this recently about light.

there's a fair amount of other info there too....maybe you know of it already....

Great site(been there before).

I,ve probably answered my own question.If i use a flourescent light(blue spectrum) as a supplement to some natural light flowering should continue.
Just looking @ options for growing in the winter months.
