Congrats -- I have a phal that really seems to like basal keikis -- don't know why. Gin is right though--you'll have to leave the little guy attached for quite awhile until it is strong enough to live on its own.
Nice growing, there. What a pretty little keikei. I have one doing the keikei thing, but mine is growing on an old flower spike I cut back. I saw one at the store today too, I was suprised at how large the keikei was and no roots. I wonder how long before they grow their own roots.
