    Red face Buds Ahoy!

I'm very excicted about the buds that have popped out on this noblie-ish den. It was beautiful when I bought it in bloom, but that was in July of 06. I was doubting it would bloom, but iis been growing fantastically.
Well to my delight little buds have sprouted one one of the canes! I am keeping is dry, if it gets cool evening temp.s will that help kick the other canes into blooming? And should I do that for my other nobile which only has one cane from this season?

PS- It is also fragrant at night!

Meg, many of the nobile-types require cool temps to initiate spiking though some do not.

Connie, as far as I know, there are no den-phal crosses. Are referring to the 'hard cane' dens which thrw a long many flowered spike?

Connie is referring to Dendrobium phalaenopsis type "hard cane" crosses...not to be confused with Phalaenopsis whatever...as these two genera won't interbreed.
