Default Paph venustum

I was looking on the web for Paph venustum yesterday and all I could find (with one exception that was fairly unimpressive) was the album form.

Anyone have leads on any non-album venustums? Anyone know why suddenly all the available venustums are album forms?

John

I've never ordered from anywhere outside of the U.S., except once from Floralia - but they brought it into the U.S. with them when attending a show. Do you have to do anything re: CITES and phytosan (or whatever it is), or do they do it all and just ship the order to you?

Thanks.

When i order they check that what i,m ordering is ok for import into the UK but seeing as we,re all part of the EU(don,t need a passport to cross borders) if they,ve got the plant then i can get it.Also there is documentation on the box listing contents & any other documents needed.
Surprised me how fast i got them.Faster than ordering from most UK nurseries .

I don' think they ship to the U.S. It isn't on the drop-down of countries in the "create an account" page.

Oh well. Thanks for responding.

It is a trend of late. venustum album is much more available than the normal colored forms. It's too bad, because both are striking enough, if you ask me. Give it a little time...with enough demand, the colored forms will become more widely available. (I am certain someone now has it but cannot recall where I have seen it). Will let you know if I come across it.

If you ask me the colored form is better than the album form. I guess the other form is just in fashion right now.

Wow, you guys really rock!

Kewpie this one from Curved Air is too irresistable to pass up. Only $25. I saw a picture of one of the parents and it's nice and big - good color. Just emailed for availability. Minimum order is $50. Darn, I'll be forced to order a second orchid. Golly gee. ( )
