Well, for quite awhile i'd had to behave and didnt even get to go window shop. Of course, being on massive pain drugs and being forbidden to drive kinda helped. But as soon as I found myself clearing doorways and not napping after each snack, I lassoo'ed a driver and came home with three in two days. lol I also have this little shoe jones to take care of next......muhahaha

I voted for window shopping, though I do 3 and 4 a lot too. And of course from time to time window shopping turns into number 5...

There's no "all of the above button", but I went to put #1 and accidently hit #2. Freudian slip maybe?

Default Ha--and I thought I answered the question honestly!

Today I bought another orchid after vowing not to buy any more. I repotted a dozen yesterday and that's enough orchids for anyone without a greenhouse.
I am the plant equivalent of the crazy cat lady. ( I only have 2 cats!)
But this lovely phal was calling my name at the supermarket--and for only $17!
Instead of surfing orchid sites and adding to my wish list, i succumbed to instant gratification!

Well there is my problem!!!! I chose number 5!!! I work for one of the largest orchid nurseries in southern Australia....too hard to resist when every week there is something new to add to the collection. I have just learnt the art of telling my partner that " oh! I've had that for years!! just haven't flowered it yet!!" seems to work so far and only get caught out when I get asked the number of orchids I now have....

I have thought exactly the same thing. One day, when I'm old and gray, they are going to find me in the greenhouse, surrounded by orchids. At least the carpet won't smell like cat pee from 30+ cats. There is a fine line between crazy orchid lady and just plain crazy--and there is certainly something to the obsessive collection of orchids.

    MUST HAVE MORE!

Guilty of that one myself . . . although they do eventually notice a general increase in the number of plants . . .

The same technique works for shoes -- "Oh yeah, they've been in the closet for months . . ."
