Bulbophyllum....first plant

Ok, so here I go....A nice looking Bulbophyllym echinolabium followed me home from our orchid society meeting raffle last night. It's my first bulbo. I've googled it and searched here-from the photos, I love the bloom (although I suspect it will stink!)

So, how do I grow this thing?

I'm growing on window sills, it's mostly high light in my house, and the humidity is low low low. I have a few things in plastic baskets with moss, most other things (catts, paphs, dens) in a home made mix of bark, chc, chopped sphag, charcoal, sponge rock). Most of my pots are plastic....

So, considering all this, what does this thing want?

First it does stink, LOL but it is a stunning, sequentially blooming, species. I keep mine in fairly high light, a little less than Catt level. Water retentive bark mix, plastic pot, fertilized regularly and good humidity level.

Good humidity. Oh boy. Ok.....will work on this. Hopefully will be posting bloom photos at some point.
