    Default Pholidota articulata

Does anyone grow this orchid? I was wondering if it needs a dry rest in winter or not. I can't seem to find any culture info during my search. Thanks for any input.

    Thanks, Gin.

When I bought the plant last year, it was bareroot and I remember the only growth that have leaves at that time are the newest ones, it seems that new growth/leaves and spike appear at the same time.

Here is the plant, spring last year, after I brought it home.

Does it appear like it had gone to a dry rest period the previous winter?

Thanks so much, Gin. No wonder this is one of the few orchids that didn't rot during the summer rainy season. It actually loved the daily rain.

"to some extent".... meaning not a complete dry rest?? *scratch head*

Anyway, its not yet really cold here so I'll still water it but let it dry for a few days and see what happen.
