    Hello, Everyone,

Is there a fragrant Cymbidium that can grow & bloom indoors, in front of an east-facing window?

    Thanking you in advance.

I understand there are smaller or compact cymbidiums that can be grown on a windowsill. Have you tried googling for a low light cymbidium or something like that? Maybe you could supplement it's lighting if you keep it indoors and it needs extra light.
Good Luck....I'm sure one of the cymbid experts will chime in soon with the perfect plant for you.

You should try a Chinese Cymbidium, such as Cymbidium ensifolium. They can be very fragrant and stay pretty compact. From my experience they do best with less light than the larger versions and need a cool dry period to induce them to bloom in the winter-spring. Good luck!
