Well, as another (recent) Floridian, I am impressed with how my encyclias love it down here; they were OK in Colorado, but they love being outside all the time and they have doubled in size with long spikes that last for weeks and scent the whole lanai. Have also enjoyed the grace and the scent of B. 'little stars' (reminds me of lily of the valley or something). Lovely on the lanai at night with candlelight and wine!

What variety did you get? Compot of loose Sphag would be the way I would go

They are in sphag and all I know so far is : Neofinetia falcata that will have white blooms. I will post pics when they arrive (hopefuly by the end of the week) so you can give me an advise if they are big enough to have their own pot.
