    Default Bulbophyllum medusae 'Orchidglade'

I just received this plant from a dear friend I met on the forum. It was sent to me out of the kindness of their heart... and the thought I might give it better care.....that's a joke!!!!!! Anyway, I don't want to let them down or embarrass myself, so if any Bulbo growers might help out, I'd appreciated it. I'm looking for general as well as genus specific care. I have divided my Cirr. Elizabeth Ann with very good success and this plant, as you can see is sprawling and needs repot/division. It is currently growing in bark; the lightly placed sphagnum is my hope that all the air roots will make it til spring and some new growth and then divide.

Looks like a good candidate for a nice big tree fern plaque.

I wouldn't divide but place on a mount or in a slat basket. I wish I could give you good advice on this one...This species does not like me. I have never gotten mine to bloom but have seen some beautiful specimens of this beauty

Ron, I find it hard to believe that there is an orchid that doesn't LOVE YOU!

Gosh, that is a nice plant, Howard. I bet it would look wonderful in a basket. I have had this one on my wish list for some time now. I bet you will be posting photos of the blooms in no time.

    Cheers,
    BD

Hey Bruce, I hope your good wishes help produce some flowers 'cause they are definitely unusual and beautiful. And, yes, it would look neat hanging in a basket but I don't have the luxury of a place to hang much of anything in my GH!

Howard, necessity is the mother of invention. There was no hanging room for me at the greenhouse that I grow in...I, with permission of the owner, created some. Maybe I can help design some for you...pm me with a pic of your growing space
