Default Oncidium Spike??? (w/ pic)

I noticed this tiny "thing" on a newly matured p-bulb of my miltonidium. It's triangle shaped, located near the base hidden inside the leaf, and is very small. Is it a spike? I can't wait to find out!

Man, I feel like an orchid proctologist looking at those pics! Usually I never notice spikes till they have buds but my guess would be a new growth.

Is that inside the bottom leaf? I did not notice that before. If it is then it's a spike.
