Default Miltonia clowesii

I have 1 of these which i,m sure is in spike but it is taking an eon for it to grow to it,s full height .Is this normal ?

I've never grown one of those Steve, but Mike (or someone else who has the conditions for them) can tell you, I'm sure.

Usually this species grows very fast. Both the plant and spike.

Well it turned out to be a PB but that 1 has spiked
