Hi , Spiney was small when I got it , I have had it close to 15 years ? not sure just when I did get it . It usually starts blooming in the late spring and goes all summer into fall . I don't know about some of the newer ones , I think some bloom off and on all year . I did try and keep it in a pot , lost roots every time it was repotted , then no flowers . I think the one you posted is beautiful , and the mount compliments it The porch is screened in and has a double layer of plastic over the screen , it links up with the green house , I have an oil filled radiator looking heater on it . I was moving it into the green house for winter but it became a job finding a place to put it .Gin

I had no idea they could bloom this small. I always thought they had to have a whole bunch of leaves. Thanks for giving me hope.

Gin, Holy cow!

I have never, ever, seen one of those that size. NEVER.

You have GOT to take that to a show--you know that, don't you?

Dang.

* Laughing* if it would cooperate when there is a show close enough to go to who wants to sit in the back of the wagon and straight arm it into the air until it gets there ? Gin

Gin-

Remember, I'm the buff pool boy. I have the delts, pecs, and biceps to straight arm that monster up for the ride to the show. But you'd have to chain me to the car, 'cause I might become impulsive and steal off with it!

Ee-vil, like the fru-eets, of the Dee-vil, Matt.
