Bechinolina I agree with you thanks for your info still many people said difficult to take care.

More than 3 yrs?? 5 yrs? Orchids that I have that don't bloom for more than 2 years, I will every week check on them and change their position....lol!! I have a Phaleanopsis right now that I have been with me for more than 2 years and still no sight of spike. Got it when it was seedling. The leaves are now about 8 inches long. Sigh, not sure how long more I got to wait.

Hi Seetmei, I'm worry that your Phalaenopsis maybe species from Philippine, through my experience Phalaenopsis philippinensis, sanderana, bastianii, schilleriana,st uartiana it's very difficult to bloom for tropical lowland in Malaysia, I had sanderiana very huge plant more then 5 years still no sign of any spike unless I put in the aircond then everything will change, I saw one nursery here they used aircond. and the results so excellent, many phals species and hybrids begin to put spikes. Hope you will get some info Seetmei.
Anyway here I'm discussing about Phal appendiculata.
