    Hi
Has anyone had any experience in growing this tiny Cattleya? Most shown appear to be potted but I wondered if they grow better on bark.

Hi, I have since found a lot more info but as I don't post too often it's nice to ask the forum of their experiences with different plants but I must admit I didn't search the forum. Only just realised that I have put Cattleya instead of Laelia!

Apparently it doesn't like to dry out but like all orchids doesn't like to be too wet. One was found growing on a horizontal, moss-covered branch so it would be more moist. My little plant, which came from a nursery in Germany, was potted in small volcanic chips, it was actually two small plants so I have put one back in the volcanic & one in spagnum, I will let you know if one grows quicker than the other

So tiny! So cute! Sadly I can't help with your question either... It's a lovely plant though!

Hi, I should have said, the photo is only one to show the plant but unfortunately it is not mine. Maybe you will beat me to the flowereing stage!
