This has healthy roots and it has gotten the necessary 20-20-20 weakly weekly, but the leaves stubonly stay curled up. I had it in the north facing window that a catt, onc and another den are happily growing. But then I had to move it because the other 3 were taking up the growing space more that it was. Then I moved it to the opposite end of the house, hoping the leaves would straighten out. New ones are coming but they're lookin the same. I would like to know if I'm doing something wrong or is this a hybrid of some sort?

Your medium looks a little too airy for this type of Dendrobium. I would just increase watering frequency, at least during the growing season.

I'm not sure having leaves curl is a problem. I have a few that like to grow this way and bloom no problem. To me it just looks like it needs more sun.

    Thanks Gage and Connie.

I found a store that sold the plastic net baskets and I bought some 2" and 4". If I put some coconut husk from my tree in the 4" and hang it on the eastern side of the house that I have my onc do you think it may fair better? Oh, should I find a leaf building fertilizer? Which would be the best ratio for something like that, if you say yes?
