    Question Coilostylis ciliare question

I recently got this plant in the mail, did the usual soak and potted it up. I just moved it to a sunnier spot as I noticed it had begun to grow a new pbulb. There is no leaf yet, but a fully developed sheath has appeared and I just realized it has buds in there. Is this normal? I've never had a plant bloom with no leaves before and wondered if this just happens to be normal for this particular plant??

And here I thought I was doing something wrong...lol!! So this isn't a bad thing? I've been adding micronutrient type stuff and thought maybe I'd overdone it. I've got a new spray bottle, my sweet husband bought for me, and it's so much easier to fertilize using my sprayer. I have been mixing up a cocktail of bug killer, antifungal, and fertilizer to spray once a week and it's making things really pop. I thought maybe I was hitting them a little too hard...although I don't have any bugs and my flowers are va va voom! For now I guess I'll risk it and keep it up....after all we call the back area the Orchid Bar...fitting they get a cocktail from time to time. ha ha ha

What are your cocktail ingredients? I have considered adding a low dose of fungicide to my sprayer considering my ridiculous temp ranges. Do you fully dose or add just a bit?
