If the plant is potted in sphagnum, how do you water? Is it by misting only?

Water again when you feel top part of sphagnum is crispy to touch.

ok, great. But do you just mist it or give it a shower in the sink?

I'll give it a shower in the sink including the leaves.

i don't have a full neo, but i have some ascofinetia, nakamotoara, etc, and i grow them outdoors, in bright shade. potted up in treefern pots with a mix of sphag, treefern fiber, clay pellets, charcoal and bark. with a pad of moss on top. i try to keep it moist, but not wet. i set them in a tub or sink of water and let them soak once a week fir 30 minutes to an hour or so. and mist them on warm mornings. i do grow phaleanopsis hybrids similarly. i also grow phals in moss only, in small plastic pots that sit inside of waterproof pots. i only give them a sip of water twice a week. i keep the moss like a sponge that has been wrung out, damp not soggy. they do real well, but over watering is always a risk. i'm not sure if neos are as problematic with root rot, but i would be very careful growing in moss. it is very easy to over water.

Hello Coeruleo, I just acquired a mounted Neofinetia Falcata 大波青海 Oonamiseikai. I bought it just for the purpose of seeing whether or not I can mount Neos and if it would be an alternative to a pot mounded Neos--which are starting to crowd each other on my grow shelf but there are a lot of air space available.

Still wondering options on potting. Have been following cucubirds advise with sphagnum
