For your info this plant they love well drainage media for me I'm using fern roots or fibers mixed with small amount of moss to maintain humidity they love bright light once the psedobulb almost mature if you are very lucky he will reward you between 3 to 4 flowers. The dormant period very long so you need to be patience with this one. Hope you get some idea.
I look forward to seeing the blooms on yours, Starr!
Hello I recently acquired one of these also and am not finding a lot of information on care and maintenance. For starters do they like their leaves misted? And can someone please recommend a good fertilizer. I read to use 1/2 to 1/4 strength weekly but not what primary nutrient levels would be most or least beneficial. I have had orchids in the past and not had much success i'm hoping and praying to do better with this one. I also read to repot them early spring in shallow containers, would coir and or peat moss do the trick? Thank you for any advice anyone can offer.
