    Default Unusual Oncidium Globuliferum

I bought this species 6 months ago as a young plant, It had now spiked at exactly the same time as my oncidium ornith. It has an unusual growth habit. Has anyone grown this orchid, there's not a lot of information about this online.

    Have you seen this info?

Also, this is a species orchid so the correct way to show its name is: Oncidium globuliferum (lower case species name is not capitalized)

i've been seeing this listed for sale at a bunch of different prices. it looks messy to grow...? like it rambles all over the place. interesting, but i think it needs a large mount or an actual tree to grow on, unless you just sort of keep wrapping it around a mount...? it's almost a mini until you factor in the long rambling rhizome.
