    We're doing that here . . .

I feel this very much as a good thing. Ive never come across this thread before, thanks stilwell. I wonder if Piper has even been on RVO in awhile. Great cooperative project, "from a past and present cause" to recreating something priceless, lost. Alot of heart felt emotional solidarity in this thread! Cheers to anyone who gets a seedling. It would surely have a beautiful story behind it from family to community to rebuild and cherish what was lost. To live on!

I just found this thread. What an awesome community, and a cool project!!!

Part of why I grow orchids is old family history too. The rest is just, well, some sort of fever, I guess...

    :-)

Smile Let's see if we can get some info

OK, so yesterday I get a great PM from Brutal Dreamer for my birthday, and today there's a new post about the ongoing BLC Daybreak saga. I can't stand it; I'm going to message Julie and see if she's out there and has any news. Of course, we all know that orchids are a slow moving sort of suspense story. Regards to any friends that still know me here, and a friendly wave to all the active members.

WOW!! I just read all 15 pages of this. What an amazing story! Really does put some things into perspective. Can't wait to see pictures of the seedlings and hopefully some day the flowers. I just love this forum even though I have only belonged to it for a short time. Something about plant people, they all seem fairly honest and down to earth. Ok, that sounded a little like a pun, but wasn't meant as such. Thanks for doing a bump on this so that I got the chance to read it. Just beautiful.
