Blc. Campobello 'Mendenhall'
In the other thread, I mentioned that I have another clone of the Campobello. So here is the picture of the other clone. The flower from this one is slightly different with a light white-splashed on the petals. This one blooms much earlier than the other clone the Newberry clone.
Cheers. Hoa.

Perspective
Well, I sat down tonight at the computer in the midst of quite a pity party. I don't remember seeing this thread, and what a wonderful thing, perspective is. Some aspect of my life certainly do suck right now, but I was able to step back and put some things into perspective because of this lovely story about Nana's orchid, the hurricane, the wonderful people on this forum....
Thanks to all of you.
Julie-what a heart warming, inspiring story...and how kind you are to share it with the forum!
I look forward to keeping track of the progress. And, I for one, would kind of like this to take a good long time-as it probably will. A good thing coming quickly to an end, what fun is that?

Thanks, Montana!
Think of this forum, and our stories here, as a fabric woven from the threads of our lives, as we share them here. It's a beautiful cloth with subtle hues and colors expressed in soul-scraping joys and tragedies. Its pattern is both familiar and surprising, as each of our lives play out with familiar themes wrapped in unexpected twists. Yet, there's love and welcome here, and this cloth is a warm one to wrap oneself in: in times of trouble and loss, in times of quite appreciation for what life has given, and in times of uproarious celebration.
This is our forum. Enjoy it, and know how very much everyone is welcome in this story!

Gosh, that is a lovely thing to say, McWordSmith!
And I hope those who find their way to RVO get a sense of that feeling, where they are all welcome to share and partake of what's here and what's to come...

Amazing project! As a grandmother I would be so thrilled if one of my grandchildren cared enough to take on this project. I know that it will be successful, just lengthy.
