It is a cholla cactus skeleton , used for bird perches and toys . If you want to know where you can get some PM. me . Gin

OH WWOWOWW!! She's a beauty! Thanks again, Cin, for the orchid. (Cin graciously shared her maxillaria with us on our trip south). The blooms are gorgeous! The plant you gave us seems to be adapting well to our climate (tho it's only been a week) and seems to be happy. Can't wait to see her bloom!!

I've been wanting one of these guys since Gin posted a photo of her beast (she has a bigger one) over a year ago. Cin's thread pushed me over the edge and this summer I broke down and bought a decent-sized one. Not as huge as Cin's but I'm eagerly awaiting its first blooming. I don't have it in the brightest of windows (west), so it probably wants more light.
