Help me pick a fragrant orchid ^^
I want to buy a fragrant orchid, could some body help me? Im growing in low light, and warm condition indoor. Ive never had any orchid that are really fragrant (except for the Catts that I had in the past). I was thinking about Phal violacea but Im afraid they'll get bigger than the space that I had for them, (hixxx..... ).
Species or hybrids welcomed.

This seems to be the right plant.
Does anyone have this plant? does it have fragrant?
I know that this cross originally comes from equestris, stuartiana, mannii and amboinensis. Its name is Phal. Carribbean Sunset

I've heard that it is supposed to be fragrant, I don't have one. I have seen the other cultivar, "Sweet Fragrance", and it was quite fragrant.

yeah, sometimes they're supposed to be fragrant but they don't, just like some Phal. schilleriana, and the Paph. delenatii. odd!

The trouble with Phals and fragrance is that some species aren't and some plants of some species aren't. I'd talk to a Phal grower who's also an expert in the genus and ask for specific plant suggestions. One fellow comes to mind - if you PM me, I'll send you his e-mail and Website.

that's ok, I e-mailed the owner of a nursery and he said that they're the most fragrant when the air is warm and humid, I think it's about the same thing for all fragrant Phals. And by the way, I think the Caribbean is kinda cute, never had such a red Phal before too... it's also a miniature, which is a +, hiihih.....
Do you think that nodosa can grow under Phal's light?
Anysuggestion welcomed! and I really appreciate your help
( Some how I feel like I'm under control of the virus ORCHID....hix.....)
