    I have a feeling that the peggy ruth is a result of meristemming.. I read somewhere that this way of breeding can result in mutations, and that is the case with for instance some of the flowers.. Could mutation have altered the plants cromosones in a way that makes it "compatible" with a dend??

    I'm not a geneticist, but I guessing that's highly unlikely.

    Well it dropped as expected But it was clearly going untill now! Was much thicker, greener and longer than all the others!
