THANK YOU JULIE. that was a great help. I thought that the buds should emmerge from (previously used) canes. the pictures really helped (and sorry if i was pushy). oddly enough, my plant seems to be confused. i took a close look at her tonight and i counted eight growths (possibly buds) emmerging from the same places as your plant. the odd thing is that these buds are growing on the canes that have a full set of leaves. I will try to take a pic of this tomorrow, so you can see what i'm talking about. the two naked canes (from last season) don't display any growth. apparently my plant is confused, possibly due to being in multiple foster homes and not having a nice stable family to grow with. family values and all that.....i want to let the plant bloom for selfish reasons. i really want those blooms, but i'm worried that letting it go will harm it in the future. i don't know. i'll show you tomorrow if i can get my camera to capture such small buds. thanks again for your help. it was extremely beneficial.

well, i wasn't going to say anything, but i was actually jealous of your arrows. so curvy, so 'on point', so direct. your arrows are EXACTLY how i like my men. except i don't like green men (or purple ones....or orange ones....ok, your arrows are mostly like i like my men)........cocktail hour is coming to a rapid close.

Yeah, but if she did, Cin, it would be prettier than my Dend.

45 F nights and 60 F days would not be a problem in the winter. A flowering size plant should start to bud around the beginning of February.
