Couple years ago I bought a nice sized B. ornatissima. It bloomed well for me for several months & sent out new growths. Over the past year however, it has on a couple of occasions initiated new growth then aborted them & it is doing it AGAIN. I've been trying to grow it moist to wet as I was told it is a moisture lover. Temps are generally from the low 70's as a low to 85 as a high. I have it on a plant stand next to glass sliding doors where it receives morning sun filtered through the outer screen door.
*sigh* Suggestions?

What is the growing media? The only way I've been able to grow Bulbos and Cirripeds is in AAA long strand sphagnum. I have them at one end of the Phalo bench (all sphagnum) in a bright spot.
Yes, what is the medium? Any plant that is growing wet to moist will need it's medium changed on a yearly basis. The constant moisture causes the medium to break down rapidly and that may be your current problem.
