    Smile Spring Colors

I thought I'd snap some pic's of what is blooming here....some newly purchased and tomorrow will be planted. I know some of you are in those Northern places that still have snow and really cold weather and I thought some pic's of Spring would help with the Cabin Fever that hits up there this time of year.....hang in there, it'll be over soon. Then I'll be envying you your crocus, tulips and other spring blooms. They don't thrive well down here in the warmer temps.

The copper lillies are just amazing, although in the pic they look red....can't wait till the pink ones open. The last pic is of my Phal Be Tris opening the first of it's five new flowers that are growing off the original spike. It's also got three little branches coming out lower down from the other nodes. It's a bloomer for sure. When the tulips come out I hope someone will post some....I miss those.

Lovely, Connie! I will post the tulip photos. Ours are just now about three inches out of the ground. We had a warm Saturday and Sunday this weekend and they grew up almost overnight. The weather report says 1-3 inches of snow for us tonight, so I hope they will be okay. Maybe it will not happen. Just a lot of rain right now, but it is getting colder.

I love the beautiful lilies. Are they in pots or the earth? Whichever, you are about to have a ton of blooms!!

    Cheers,
    BD

Right now the lillies are still in their original pots, tomorrow they go in the ground. I am replacing plants withered by the long drought we had here. It finally started raining a couple weeks ago and its warming up so its time to get a few things established and well rooted before the summer heat.
