    the stephalia is great!!!!!
    i grow many kinds of`em too-didnt flower yet this year
    this is stephalia gigantea-the most atractive 1
    its smell so gross(like a rotten flesh)to attract flys that polenate them
    verry nice

    Update...here is the All Open version. I've never see this many open at one time....and still so huge. I also got a good shot of how the hairs look purple from the side. They really are cool flowers....and right now covered with flies.
    Thank You for the name....I can see now why the flowers are sooo huge! Thanks again!
    And as to the VA....yeah, been there done that in triplicate too. It's amazing how they can lose paperwork three or four times before they finally acknowledge or update. They even had my husband and I as divorced a short while ago!! Like say What?? lol We had a good laugh over that one, then called and got it straightened out. They can be very aggravating....I definitely try to be patient when we go there.

    nice update! The one Gin gave me blooms with two or three flowers at once. It needs to get bigger like yours and bloom more! heheh...
