Kfir, those are amazing! I love all the blooms. We have one really big cactus that makes a beautiful bloom, but only does it at night. If I don't go out early in the morning, it will be dead by the afternoon. Thanks for sharing these.

    Cheers,
    BD

Wonderful blooms! We have to strain to get cacti to bloom here in NW FL.
I wish I had been able to visit Death valley a few years ago when it bloomed. May never see it again in our lifetime. Aren't plants amazing???
You have very nice plants, Kfir, thanks for sharing your pictures.

Lovely, reminds me of when my father grew cactus while my mother grew orchids. They had a dry greenhouse and a wet greenhouse.

The trick with any cactus that I have run into.....first you give it NO water for a month or two, then you give them water for a couple days in a row and watch them bloom. In the desert they only bloom after a long drought. My gardening girlfriend down here has been very helpful with some of this stuff. Alicia is a "i'll grow anything once, and if it lives cool" kinda person. lol She has a fence covered with passion flower vines that would knock your socks off. This trick has worked with my Christmas Cactus as well as the Stinky Stapelia...so far...
