Bromeliad in Bloom
I put some Bromeliads in the backyard a couple years ago. A friend had given me a pot completely overgrown with this kind. I put them in and waited and waited for some flowers. To my suprise the other day, this beauty had popped up.
Hope they do this again soon!
I love all this tropical stuff!

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box. ...Hmmm? .

This is such a pretty, showy bloom and I really like the 3rd picture you took from above.

I have a bunch of small Broms attached to a stick mount...I am sorry I didn't get a pic of the one that bloomed this year...it was very pretty! I have one large one too

Beautiful, Connie!
But, alas! Unless that pot has some as of yet unbloomed matured growths, it will likely be a while til you get blooms again. Each plant blooms but once. Afterwards the 'mother' plant puts out one or more 'pups'. Depending on the type, years can go by before they mature enough to bloom
