    I've seen this with flowers in white too, wonder if they are the same species?

    That's a very nice specimen of V dearii Zainal. You are right about it being very rare in the wild.Once they could be found in the Peninsula but I have not heard of any recent sightings.

    another great vanda zain, awesome!
    love the dendro too, im a sucker for distichous leaves. i think robert means the dendrobium distichum with similar leaves.

    Yew,I hope we can see V. dearei in peninsular grow in the wild in one day but very very slim.

    Hi Jeff so sad every time in buds just about to open they got blacked spot and the buds gone, I gave up for this Beccarii species.Not only that the huge leaves especially during the monsoon with strong wind blowing and small roots make them detached from the tree.Surrender......
