Great, probably can exchange the plant if you get new species, Erly. Zain.

Is that Bulbo beccarii ??? Edit: I should have read the page before this one. I now see that it is a beccarii. The biggest leafed one I have ever seen. Mine has 6" leaves but the original leaves on the plant were closer to 8" or so.

Looks like a wonderful trip!! I was suppose to go to Borneo a few years back but the plans were cancelled after the Tsunami

Ron, you need to reconsider again your plans, now Kuching had face massive development and many building appear every else where, so hurry to see more species before its going to disappear.

Becky," say HUMIDITY????" you are right actually when I took the photos it was raining out there and the humidity was really very high in addition we were at the foot hill of Santubong Mountain. Thanks for viewing.

I know this sounds wild, but heck, it's Friday evening, we can dream big, can't we? Isn't BD planning on an orchid adventure? How about Borneo?

Default What a lovely series of photos.

And, I am green with envy.

I was actually contemplating on a cruise to Kuching last year but somehow no one else was interested.

Maybe we can all set a date for going there?

As for my farm, this is the first year that I would have this many plants in one area, and many of them are still adjusting. For example, I have a couple of Euanthe sanderiana alba but they're sulking at this time. And, the last rainy season killed about 700 phals, because they have not settled/established well yet. About 3/4 of the Rhynchostylis died, too.

I hope to have more blooms in January, or else I would be so disappointed. Close to 5,000 plants and only 10 or so in bloom at the moment!

Rest assured, I would be more confident of what I would be showing off in one or two years more!

Sorry to hear about your orchids Nelson.probably need plan A or plan B eg, pay more attention to expansive plants / until the plant really establish.... preparation to face rainy season, well during this time many of my lovely orchids got fungal and bacterial infection too, sometimes difficult to eradicate. Frustration...never mine do what ever we can..Zain
