    Don't know how I missed this thread before. Cool photos! You have a nice variety of critters visiting. I never saw a lil mantis before, kinda cute. The 1st butterfly & 2nd frog are great shots!

    cool 'catch' Ron! Look at where the frog was hanging onto the leaf with his 'toes' too. You can almost see the quick movement it took to catch his prey.

    Cheers,

    Sweet Kitty loves orchids more than anyone! this is why i can't have them in the house. she particularly likes baby orchids she can unpot and carry with her.

    wow bruce, sharp eyes you have!
    i would have missed the whole action if it wasnt for the noise and movements from my hanging orchids, he often hides up there and goes crazy for bigger prey, then he jumped down.

    @donna
    to bad you didnt get a clear shot of your lizzard, he is soooo dinosaur looking!
    your cat shot is cool, although not funny at all, lol.

    hi,

    i was watching this tiny wasp? on my flickingeria purpureostelidia, ever since the bloom opened it started some kind of a dance, sticking its head and butt in the column, for a few hours...and it wasnt intimitated at all by me taking shots.
