Ron, going through this thread (which I'd somehow missed before) is like browsing the pages of Nat'l Geographic! Seriously, your pictures would fit perfectly. I love frogs and have no doubts as to who is the star of this thread....More pics of the froggie, please. He has such a personality. Loved his "hanging out" photo.

Ron, I didnt know you direct insect porn.... But it was a nice shot. I also love those
beetles, especially the green-yellow one. Have any of your insect friends pollinated your
    orchids?

    lol randy,
have i created a new profession?
cant tell for sure how reliable my insects are and which one is responsible for the "deeds".
i remember watching a bumble bee going nuts over my aerides flowers, then flying off straight to dendros...

This last insect has the same body shape and head of an assassin bug. Colors are a bit different. There are a few different ones where I grew up. And to Courtney.........where the hell do you live in SoCal? I am in the North Bay area and I can't get away from the spiders! I have to give my deck and all of my outdoor plants a good strong jet of water at least twice a day to keep everything from being overrun.

I'm in a nice little town in Los Angeles county. I see regular house spiders (I actually let a baby one build a large home on one of my orchids)....when I said there was "NOTHING", I was referring more to things that I love like mantis, frogs, snakes, lizards, etc.
